Rose McKernon
Fit 4 Recovery Trainer & CrossFit Coach
Rose grew up as a non-athletic child and as an adult started dealing with chronic back pain, and additionally nerve impingement in both arms. Learning about strengthening and exercise allowed Rose to slowly make progress with her back pain and to reduce symptoms down both arms through exercise movement and physical therapy. A fire was lit and Rose found herself drawn to functional whole body training which led her to start CrossFit in 2017. After years of working on herself through the ups and downs of training, she was inspired to take the leap and change careers to help others dealing with physical injuries and ongoing chronic conditions.
Along with training Fit 4 Recovery clients and coaching CrossFit classes, she also works as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) and Pilates teacher at a local studio.
Born and raised in Minnesota, Rose enjoys motorcycle camping with her boyfriend, live music, paddle boarding, hiking/rucking, Pilates, strength training and frisbee/disc golfing.
